I originally used rubber fuel hose from tank to carb, was never happy with it so I ripped it all out & I,ve now fitted copper fuel pipe, I bought a roll of Micro Bore heating pipe from B&Q, does the job nicely (£23 a roll ), & used specific rubber fuel hose at either end to connect the copper pipe to the tank & carb.

If you are using a fuel injected engine I think you need a return fuel line back to the tank too .
