all new ballanced and its rebuildable and greaseable just call them and give them the distence from seal to diff flange and what box and diff you have and thay do the rest and as dave says it fits in without moving box or diff as there is enough movement to get it in |

I don't think that you will want to retain the Omega's donut coupling once you see just how close it will be to the sides of the transmission tunnel ;) Same goes for original Sierra donut I guess. Yes, the prop can be fitted easily to the Ford type 9 box as it has a splined input shaft for the prop. This spline will act as a sliding joint. The Omega gearbox has a fixed flange to couple the propshaft to, without some form of sliding joint in the new prop, I doubt it will be possible to fit the prop without dif or gearbox removal. I guess it's a bit confusing as we kinda have 2 different threads going at the same time :) :) |
Dont discount the doughnut untill you have checked out your clutch plate. Some motors dont use the sprung center plate anymore because there is a doughnut in the driveline. make sure you have one or the other.

Good point Bob :)
Definately fine with the C20LET clutch assemly chosen for my conversion. The cluch plate has a double sprung centre plate :) |
omega box is much like the mt75.
pic of the tripod to uj adapter and slider on my D&F prop. Mines live axle so needs the slider. |
