Any generous builders
We need a pair of spline adaptors to fit on the lobro drive shafts we have for the single seater if anybody has a spare set from their build that they do not need or not used. We have the drive shafts just need the spline ends PLEASE.
Thought there is bound to be some unused on here.....:( Many Thanks in Advance..........AndyH |
Do you mean the diff output flanges? (not that I have any spare.)

Thanks TT and Jimmy, not sure if they are the same but it's the outer flange to spline, wheel side, that we need. we have the rest but for some reason they are missing. The car now has engine running, diff and chain fixed so just need these to get the rear wheels spinning.
Cheers....AndyH |
Ahh right, the rear stub axle.. Still not got one spare mind.

Thanks again Jimmy and TT, just thought i would try the forum first.
Nathan has offered to lend the pair off his car just till we get sorted. Cheers....AndyH |
Certain sure that I have a spare pair here :)
I'll have a root about later this morning & drag em out. They are the standard Sierra ones from a 2l with rear disks fitted ( 7" Diff ) Is it just the flanges you need ?, I have the bearing carriers here but they are a tad crusty & possibly in need of new bearings. Hope that helps :) |
Hi Ronnie,
That is exactly what we need, just the flanges. Bearings and everything else is ready to fit, for some reason the flanges are missing. Thanks......AndyH |
I'll root them out & get them in the post to you ASAP :)
Think they are in my top shed, failing that, they'll be down my inspection pit. If they are down the pit, Junior will get em out when he comes in from work ;) |

Might be able to get the car rolling for Saturday, clutch is seized though......:( Many Thanks.....AndyH |
andy, if the clutch apears siezed, it may just be wear on the clutch basket, it happens to motocross bikes all the time when their thrashed and left for a while. The basket gets little ridges worn onto where the plates slot into it. Usually a dismantle and a light filing sorts it out.

i bet the clutch will be fine once the engine is running and the drive line is in almost all bike clunk and jolt the chain when thay first select first when cold.
top tip only and only put bike oil in a bike engine with a wet clutch or it will soon be slipping! |
