clutch arm pivot pin

I seem to remember something about clutch pedal travel not being sufficient in zetec installations.GBS do an extended clutch pin for the black top . Do you need this with the silver top , mondeo clutch and extended release bearing? I dont have any clutch pin in my box so I need to get one which do I get and if it's the std one, can I still get one from Ford do you think.
cheers

You will be lucky to get anything for a Type 9 from Ford,I wnated flywheel pins and they have been out of stock for years.

I believe the Black top and Silver top are identical WRT the clutch. I also have a 1.8 flywheel, Mondeo clutch and the longer CCT133 bearing. The clutch actuation point not far from the bottom of the pedal movement, but it works well as it is, pretty much.

1600 zetec f/wheel is lighter and aparently the better one to use.

GBS do an extended clutch arm pin than negates need for thicker release bearing
