Bike carbs arrived, supercharger on its way!
Having attended this year Dragstalgia event at Santa pod and seeing a Mk1 escort running a silvertop zetec with an M45 supercharger bolted on the side, I was inspired!
I will update my blog when I have started fabricating the intake, mounts etc..... I got some throttle bodies off a late ZX10R with TPS. However I have now realised the ECU I was going to use (from chester sportscars) does not require a TPS and is really for bike carbs. TBH I have little knowledge on ECUs, so some advice would be appreciated! |
I should also add, I have the crank position sensor and flywheel already from the 2.0 zetec. So I would not require a timing gear etc...

I hope your joking about the super charger, your boss will cut your you know what's off

haha thanks guys!
Looking around there seem to be plenty of ECU's. Megasquirt etc.... As long as its got fuel injectors and boost I think it should be ok. Just gotta figure out how it all wires up! But I am sure it will make sense when I get that far! |

I dont understand the need for the throttle bodies if its going to have a blower fitted. A standard manifold with a single throttle body would do the same job.
