Heat proof edge trim

As title, does it exist?

I need something to go round the seem on my cataylic converter and round the end of my tail pipe.

I don't really want a big cover over the whole exhaust, as it's just something else to remove after iva :p

Would the catalytic converter not fit in the engine bay, just a thought:confused:
I think its likely you would have to make a small heatshield to go around it to get through iva as it is at the moment.or just wrap it with exhaust heat tape.

My original plan was for it to go in the engine bay, but theres not enoug room :(

Hmmm... Could wrap the full lot with this stuff.

That would protect from heat and cover the sharp edges.

What do you think?

I would go with a perforated shield, I am not sure what effect wrapping a cat would have as the heat build up may be detramental.

You will also need so sort of heat blanket next to the side pannel to avoid scorching that.
