Bolts - Bellhousing to Engine Block

Hi Folks. I need to replace the bolts that attach the bellhousing to the engine block and don't know what spec they are. Engine and box from a J reg 1.8 cvh.

I know some of you have this sort of info in your heads (or give that impression - I would need to look for it) - Being lazy here if you hadn't guessed !!

Here's some info I posted a good while back :)

======================================

I have just had a look on my engine ( I used the original Zetec bolts )

They are M10 X 40mm set bolts ( Fully threaded bolts ) standard metric thread.

One difference over a standard M10 set bolt is that the head size is reduced to take a 13mm spanner .... I believe there is still enough room for a 17mm standard hex head though

If memory serves me right, 6 bolts will do the trick.

============================================

They will be the same on the CVH Engine :)

Cap heads are neat and would want to be rated 8.8
