Seat width

I have found some bucket seats, width at runners is 39cm and overall width is 50cm at the widest point. Would they be worth a try?

Cheers

Hi Russ

I have just had a quick measurement of my chassis.

The width between the inside of the side rails & the transmission tunnel is proximately 450mm.

Got shot of a very nice set of Cobra seats due to the width, If only I gave it some better thought.
Probably could have made the transmission tunnel a bit narrower to allow the fitting of a slightly wider seat. :o :o

That said, those Two Cobra seats weighed nearly as much as the bare chassis :D

Cheers Ronnie,

Just wondering if they're worth a punt cos they arent expensive. Presumably there would be a bit of 'squidge' is the base side boulsters or wonder if a could take a little off the side foam to get some space? I take it there would be a bit more space to be had above the bottom chassis rail going to the outer side panel too...

Russ
