I totally agree with your logic as i too thought the same & had intended to make mine the same as yours,
my question is just based upon , when i looked at the original alloy engine mount from the sierra it has the mounting point at the chassis end lower than the engine end, & so thought i,d try to replicate that positioning ( not easy i know due to the Roadster steering column position).

I,m not questioning the way you have done it, more a case of questioning my own thought process of my mounts.
