Thats a good point to raise, & easily overlooked,

I,m not sure of the precise wording in the IVA manual but the belts/harness are not supposed to pull directly downwards from the shoulder, as it may be possible in an impact that the force of the impact could break your collar bones .

Sounds like TT has this covered tho by having the webbing of the harness running over the top of the roll bar center brace

Thats the reason I waited until I had my seats before welding the center brace into position so that I could get the seat/shoulder/brace bar height to the correct position.
