Don't know about the flywheel but I tapped in to my engine loom at the point where the 3 plugs were originally. I found that on my car there was an imobiliser wire that caught me out, I could not get a spark without sorting that out. You need a live going to your coil, your ignition amp and your ecu. The wiring for the fuel pump is a bit weird, it's a while back now but I seem to remember that it is switched negative from the ecu so the other side of the relay coil needs to be taken to a switched live. Do not take it to permanant live otherwise it does not work correctly Those were the only things that caught me out, hope that helps.
