Default Zetec Silvertop 1.8 - Questions

Well today I picked up a Zetec Silvertop 1.8 from someone 35 minutes away from me, it has done about 70,000 miles and is a runner, as he had it running in his car for a few weeks before he got his hands on a 2.0. He sold it to me for £40 .

I'll be going down the bike carbs (ZX9R as they work straight out of the box) and megajolt. I know i'll need to fabricate my own inlet manifold to get it all to work.

I've got a few questions about it, it didn't come with any ancillaries, so what can I use from my dead CVH engine? Can I use the starter motor, alternator, flywheel and clutch? I will be using a Type 9 gearbox as well.

Also what is normally done for the exhaust manifold for this engine? Will I need to make my own or is there a cheap and easy solution for it?

Finally, I read a while ago that there are problem with the thermostat housing with this engine as it doesn't fit in the roadster. This engine hasn't come with one, so I was wondering what is normally done to fix the problem?

Cheers
