Default Tr5

Hi everyone Merry Christmas to you all, I've a question tr5 gets in the way of the fitting of a 1600 MX5 engine looking at other threads on here it seems that they are not fitting tr5 is it needed? And if not what if anything is required instead? Looks like some have used diagonals like tr6 & tr7 at the rear is that a good idea? Also I have a nose cone from Equinox which is higher and it's very close to the engine in fact at the moment with the engine slightly to far forward and sitting on Phil's engine mounts which are great. Its to high for the bonnet to clear, anyone got any suggestion

Regards Mick.

Hi Mike,
I don't know if it will be sufficient to answer your question, but there has been some talks about TR5 already here:
