Default Engine clerance

Started trial fitting my engine this afternoon, but having a few issues.

My reverse light switch is very close to the transmision tunnel upright of the chassis (with the gearbox aligned central with the tunnel). I can't move it any futher back as the thermostat housing touches the chassis.

I could move the full lot 2" foward, but i'm sure the futher back, the better. (EDIT: thinking about it, then my gearstick would be through a chassis tube, so that won't work)

Any tips?

Most annoying bit so far: Generator packing up half way through welding.

I made a recess in the top rail for the thermostat housing. This way everything fits nicely.

mine is exactly the same so is andys so is spuds so is dogwoods etc etc....... it will be fine don't worry about it.

Same as yours done 3k now and its never been a problem. As long as its not actually touching you won't have any problems.
