![]() Do the Roll hoop back stays and cross brace have to be made from CDS?
I will be mounting my seatbelts lower down towords the diff area and not on the cross brace. Anyone got a good site for cutting templates for round rube? Cheers TT

![]() You would be better to mount the belts to the top chassis rail rather than down inside the boot area.

![]() They will be mounted at an appropriate location that does not require protection for MR IVA. Top rail or lower will be worked out at a later date.
My belts have a long single atatchement so I have a lot of variance on where they can go. Cheers TT

![]() No requirement for roll bar so mounts should comply with IVA requirements.

![]() the cros brace will be above shoulder height with the belts running over them. The location point will be elsewhere.

![]() Thats a good point to raise, & easily overlooked,
I,m not sure of the precise wording in the IVA manual but the belts/harness are not supposed to pull directly downwards from the shoulder, as it may be possible in an impact that the force of the impact could break your collar bones . Sounds like TT has this covered tho by having the webbing of the harness running over the top of the roll bar center brace ![]() Thats the reason I waited until I had my seats before welding the center brace into position so that I could get the seat/shoulder/brace bar height to the correct position. cheers andy |
