![]() Someone mentioned a brakelight switch earlier but I cant find the thread so here is an idea I had that I will give a try. There is a brake light switch that is part of a banjo bolt that will screw straight into the brake master, its available in all the common brake pipe threads and there is a banjo brake pipe adaptor on the good old mini. Bring the two together and there is no need for a tee or seperate switch. those banjos are on quite a lot of leyland cars like sherpas and mini`s. A lot neater and cheaper
![]() ![]() ![]() Edit. a better picture of one of the banjo`s ,This one is on a range rover ![]() Bob

![]() Would you then just continue the brake pipe from the banjo?

![]() Yes, just continue from the banjo union.

![]() I used one on my quad when I added brake lights, only cost about £10 from eBay and that was some obscure pitch thread
Seems like a good easy idea |

![]() These brake light switch banjo bolts are originally designed for motorbikes, so available threads are M10x1.00, M10x1.25 or JIC3/8x24.

![]() surely its easyer to fit a equal tee into your rear brakline and screw a hum drum hyd switch from a mini (imp) or vw (metric)
all in for about £10 m10x1 is a metric brake pipe size but banjos are not that common on car stuff |
