I used one on my quad when I added brake lights, only cost about £10 from eBay and that was some obscure pitch thread

Seems like a good easy idea

These brake light switch banjo bolts are originally designed for motorbikes, so available threads are M10x1.00, M10x1.25 or JIC3/8x24.

surely its easyer to fit a equal tee into your rear brakline and screw a hum drum hyd switch from a mini (imp) or vw (metric)
all in for about £10

m10x1 is a metric brake pipe size but banjos are not that common on car stuff

This is a candidate for the idea. Skov already has the banjo on his brake master so he could have just got the switch. Job done, now there is a tee there with pipe and fittings with an air trap at the tee.

Turn the tee piece 90 deg to the right and fit the switch to face down.

Definate air trap the way it is.

I'll wait to see if it's a problem first.
I've already filled the system with fluid, so I don't fancy changing it unless I really have to!

what he said or at 180 so switch is at the bottom

i do dislike having the brake res so low in the system if you get any leak above it,it can letair in and you louse braking if you have the res higher it will drip out fluid and show its ugly head and the level switch will warn befor brake loss

and it makes bleeding harder
