Don't panic, I do not think you have bought the wrong shocks

If you bought your shock brackets pre bent, it is likely that they are made to a slightly revised spec.
Unfortunately on the front lower wishbone the inner edge of the bracket tends to snag on the body of the shock.

I had to re-profile the radius of the mounting bracket a little as I had the same problem .... Certain sure that the brackets are still perfectly safe & my shocks now fit like a glove
