Which part is causing you trouble? The book is wrong if working from it, see the amendments section. For disk braked hubs the holes need to be vertical and are handed. Drum set up the holes need to be horizontal. Be aware that the holes are biased one way,best to compare the parts to RU8+7 plates before welding!
