Both type 9 and MT75 were used in 4x4 Sierras.
You can't remove the Transfer casing from the MT75, you need a 4pot RWD MT75 and then have a Trans specialist swap over the front casing from the V6 4x4 to the RWD box. T5 Won;t fit the V6 without a special belhousing. Type 9 can be converted to RWD by geting hold of the RWD tailcasing and associated parts, but it's a lot of hassle. TT
