Oil sump tp grpund distance

Based on your experience, how much should be the minimum distance between the lower point of the oil sump to the ground? This will take into consideration the usual dampers/springs used on a Haynes Roadster (GAZ, Protech etc).

On my current setup i am afraid i am a bit low but i have the option to correct this. I use a bike engine and with the front ride height set to about 10cm, the distance between the sump and ground will be about 5-6 cm.

I know that i can go for a higher ride height at the front, but do you think i am in danger? Thanks!
