No, they mean stainless. I would be worried about galvanic corrosion, especially as the lower rear upright to wishbone bolt (try saying that after a few tins too many
) is the worst bolt to undo anywhere on an MX-5. It's not uncommon for them needing to be cut off. On my donor, a 5' breaker bar with over 100kg of weight wasn't enough to even make them budge. I had to cut the bolts off with a hacksaw; reminds me, I still need to remove the centre part of the bolts from the upright...
