Thanks for that Steve , just the encouragement required
I know from past experiances that in my mind every job done is a step closer to using her not finishing her and truthfully the list isn't getting longer just as I do one job I see another I hadn't thought about lol . so having coffee n toast, its a buetiful day so will see how I get on today

That's ok for the encouragement. When I was building I kept on making lists of the jobs needed doing and I got there in the end. It was a great achievement when I finished.

It's not getting longer, it's getting more detailed. It means you're getting somewhere with the build. I still have 8 things on my list and I'm post IVA. And when they're done. I'll make another list, one of those things on the list will be "drive it".

carried on with the wiring... it is not theraphutic.... so doing a wee bit at a time interspersed with other more interesting jobs !!!
was cutting out wires and found I had no dash lights... argh, I had cut the power feed from the fuse, easy find .. phew. found the brake warning wire so now labelled and the rear fog wiring so should be able to run the permanent wiring to the back now. Just the indicator wiring to sort out cos the 03 harness and 03 switch don't match ummmm the joy..
Trina is home today so will be a short break in progress .

Hi , made these "arm rests" to finish off the top edge of the sides aluminium U section, cut a length of pipe lagging in half and tuck it to the ali, trimmed it to fit and then covered it in the same leathercloth that I used elsewhere, seats are out and in the living room as I got my harness but the wrong bolts (my fault) so waiting for bolts to arrive

well sun is shining and its warm so more switch wiring all switches working symbols light up when lights turned on but no instrument lights, after much messing around find that you have to have the instrument dimmer switch wired in, don't know why, but its in now and all instrument / switch lights working
Trina decided that as it was nice she would come and help....... her idea was to see how it felt and sit looking pretty...... still she is happy and doesn't mind when I disappear for hours
