Default what an idiot

So today was a day out working with the wife in tynemouth so on the way pops in to south shields to get fibreglass stuff then off to do the work anyway we are passing the sainsburys and thought good time to get a bit of diesel

anyway me being the tool that I am shouted s#/t as I realised that I put 30 litres of unleaded in the diesels tank so I had to turn to the more level headed one in the family (wife not me) who made a call and a man showed up in a van and relieved us of £300 from the wifes credit card

so needless to say that I think I owe the wife a holiday and 300 notes to compensate ger for my stupidity

let the jokes commence

I did the same but didn't want to pay mega bucks to get the tank emptied. Walked to a nearby B&Q, bought several 1 gall fuel containers and a roll of water hose and started to drain the tank of er petroil. My car then was a Citroen BX with the hydowotsit suspension and as I tried to get the petroil out it go lower and lower eventually sitting on the ground. I then had to take the fuel tank level sender out of the tank as I had by now swallowed most of the tank contents trying to syphon it out.
Eventually a couple of hours later I gave up and put a tank of proper derv in so as to dilute the petroil.
It worked and no lasting problem. A friend ran his Sherpa van on the several cons of petroil without any issues for several weeks, but with a smokey exhaust cloud behind him.

perhaps £300 would have been a better option ;-)

Robbing b,stards,would have done it for £100 for you.

Smokes like the clappers Neil,used to do at least one a week for car rental company and put it in my motor,never again.
