![]() No you don't have to put the weights on the vin plate
As an aside my Haynes with steel floor / seat back panel / sides and with windscreen went through iva with the following weights Kerb weight axle 1 370kg Kerb weight axle 2 274kg Weight with driver axle 1 400kg Weight with driver axle 2!460kg And the bit your interested in Design weight axle 1 450kg Design weight axle 2 550kg Design gross weight 1000kg Hope that's of some help and remember you also need the vin number permantly on the chassis front offside either stamped engraved or on a plate seam welded to the frame tubes

![]() All I put on mine 3 years ago. I got the plate off ebay. It was an engraved trophy type plaque. I think it only cost about £2.50
