![]() HI, the 7" diff in the pic isnt an lsd looks like a standard open diff to me!
I am happy to be proved wrong though. |

It has the Silicone fluid behind the "ring gear". It is a large flange that holds the "ring gear". I never have dismantle one so I don't have pictures of it. Bu I have pictures of a 7.5" open diff and you don't see the part. ![]() ![]() ![]() Regards, Cobra289

![]() Might make me look a right muppet but I always understood that to test if it's an LSD then turning one side will have the lsd diff spin both outputs the same way...non lsd goes opposite way...?

![]() The flanges are not just a straight replacement, those slots for the circlips are there for a reason so you would have to pretty much dismantle the diff.
I am not saying they don't exist but i have never seen a Ford LSD with push in shafts |
