depends what you want also,

were i live there are loads off twisty windy roads so iv gone for rocket accelleration with a 3.9 but i will be limited on top speed but iff you want to have a better top speed then obviously something like a 3.14 would be good, as for the actual diff the sierra ones arnt that hard to find i saw 5 on a stand at stonley at the weekend for about £40 each though about buying the lot and putting them on ebay could have made a killing lol but the freelander diffs are quite popular and i dont think you would need an awful lot off chassis modification
