Not always true. When I did my charity parachute jump, it was a day's training on the Saturday, then a solo jump on Sunday - well worth it!

do you know anyone at that flying club i could contact to discuss the idea? how do you mean too close for comfort???
maybe i could land in my back garden??? i,d need the size of a football pitch knowing my sense of direction

Helicopters are my real passion but far to expensive too learn on and fly. I have had a couple of hours in them and loved it,trying to hover was a nightmare using all four limbs at once and trying to co-ordinate them was mind numbing but flying backwards in a circle at 1500 ft above my house was something else.

If you are ever this far north Ronnie you are welcome anytime for a quick ride over the sights here.
