Hi Jas.

You may be able to run it on the stock ECU but it will be a tall order.

Fistly you will have to find a way of by-passing the immobilizer (Pats) & most likely be a real pain finding a way to by-pass a fair few sensors that would not be needed in the Roadster. It's my guess that the stock ECU will still be looking for a signal from them.

If you want to use an afermarket ECU. Fuel injection will require Megasquirt or the likes. For bike carbs or webbers, Megajolt will do.

One last thing, you'll most likely to need to fit a CAT on an engine that age.
