Argoshield HEAVY is specifically made for welding material over 10mm thick, and while their datasheet says it can be used on thinner metal, it says weld integrity may become an issue.
Regular argoshield is probably what most people use for mig welding.... hell I've even used it for TIG, but it runs mighty mighty super duper hot.
