cheers Ronnie, having now given this a little more thought, what i intend is to make up a 5mm plate that i can attach to the 3 mounting holes in the ali bracket & a 4th hole to then bolt all of the fixing points into the block, i,ll give it a go & see how it works out,
this way it uses the original ali brackets & original rubber mountings  cheers andy
