Make a plate that fits the motor then two plates that fit your chosen rubbery thing...bolt the plate to the motor and line up the rubbery thing on the chassis rails on it's plates then carefully cut a lump of 2" diameter tube and weld it between the two...............simples and very neat.

Works for the Pinto as well as the Zetec motors even the toyota 4age lump
