welcome to the forum Ginge,
the points you mention are similar to why i chose to build a Roadster as it allows the builder to truly spread the cost of the build without spending thousands on a bolt together kit, & also as you say, its a very friendly & helpful forum. good luck with your future build & it,ll always be there for you to pick up on after you,ve been posted away for a while. cheers andy
