I've been looking at the zzr1100 make decent power and seem to come up for a reasonable price. Does anyone know if these need to be dry sumped?
I have given up on the idea of a gpz1000rx someone offered me I think there are more powerful and lighter engines around.
I've also noticed a few older bikes have the timing chain running around the centre of the block/head like the Yamaha Fazer and CBR 1000 f, how do you change the chain? Is it a rebuild job?

Probably best doing a search on Locost Builders. There are large numbers of BEC builders on there
