It doesn't help you this afternoon Mark but if you get some ptfe rod, only a few quid, just over the size of the bush (25mm), chamfer the end and hammer it into the bush tube, or squeeze in with vice. Then you can drill through the center and insert your own 12mm crush tube slightly oversized (30mm). I did this with mine and gives a nice smooth feel with no play at all.
