David, I think the numbers refer to hardness ie 5000 is half hard (may be wrong )

i didn,t take a photo but i,ve recently had over 200mtrs of box erw steel inside my van , picked up in batches, cut into 3mtrs lengths carrying 40 lengths a time & its all for Roadster builds
