![]() The ones I have are 130mm long but when fully wound in still leave a slight amount of toe out.
The track rod ends are Sierra parts, presumably the RS 2000 parts are shorter? Chris, thanks very much for the offer. Unless they will shorten to about 110mm and still leave sufficient depth of thread for the track rod I would still be in the same position. If they would shorten, I could use them. Neil

![]() That's exactly what I was planning to do, right up to the point it snapped off.
Thought I'd try for some made the right length before buying new, only to have to make mods to them. Thanks anyway. Anyone got a single alloy extension?? ![]() ![]() Neil

![]() Just a little point mk2 rs 2000 tre's are straight sierra ones are offset and handed, wont using straight ones mess up the track rod angle they will be pointing backwards slightly if veiwed from above unless you move the rack back aprox 10mm or the exact amount of offset in the sierra tre's whatever that is.
unless you mean mk5 rs 2000 ones which may or may not be straight I dont know By the way i think you can use escort cossie ones they are offset Ray ![]() |

![]() Snapped it trying to unscrew it from the TRE, stuck solid and sheared as I tried to get it out.
![]() Got to try getting the other one undone yet. Neil

![]() i have used the straight rs2000 ones its the up and down axis that you need to worry about so the bend makes no odds.
