Just a little point mk2 rs 2000 tre's are straight sierra ones are offset and handed, wont using straight ones mess up the track rod angle they will be pointing backwards slightly if veiwed from above unless you move the rack back aprox 10mm or the exact amount of offset in the sierra tre's whatever that is.
unless you mean mk5 rs 2000 ones which may or may not be straight I dont know
By the way i think you can use escort cossie ones they are offset

Snapped it trying to unscrew it from the TRE, stuck solid and sheared as I tried to get it out.

Got to try getting the other one undone yet.

i have used the straight rs2000 ones its the up and down axis that you need to worry about so the bend makes no odds.

doesnt it put the track rod at a funny angle on full lock? but if your happy then cool
