![]() Yours does look a little close. Main thing to watch out for if using a Pinto & type 9 box is the clutch actuating arm fouling on the transmition tunnel I slotted my engine and gearbox mounts. This allowed me to be sure everything clears without modding. david |

![]() As Les says it's the reverse light switch that fouls the chassis, if you get the switch about 1" behind the upright you will be fine. The car is better to drive with the gear stick as far forward as feasible, feels more natural especially if you need to push the seat forward.
