To put it simply.
The ofset is measured from the centerline on the rim to the bolt face. if the bolt face is closer to the outer rim then we have a + offset if the bolt face is closer to the inner rim then we have a - offset. I had Peugot offset wheels ( 15mm IIRC ) on our mondeo, that put's the total track at 40mm wider than wheels on a standard 35mm offset. It went round conrners very well but would rub the arches on the bumpy stuff. TT

Just been looking at 15inch minilites and compomotive prices and looking at what offsets they come in, 0-15mm for the back and 30-40mm for the fronts been told off by the wife as I'm reminded that I'm building a car on a budget.
 might be cheaper second hand as I only want two of each.
