As above, has the strobe timing been checked. and is the advance working.

I would try and give it some back preasure and also look for any vacuum leaks.. It should realy rev and retun to idle even when stone cold.

Again my knowledge of K-Jet is basic...

Does it have an auxiliary air device, does a similar job to an idle speed control valve.
