I could be wrong but the thing that would worry me about the bike rad is capacity of it and the surface area it small compared with car rad and the engine is small in comparison as well.
You may get overheating problems and I would think it will run hot,as you mentioned above the aformentioned nose cone could be of different dimensions and not compatable with Haynes chassis.
Electric fan and thermostat is one less thing to worry about.
