Whats wrong with welding the roll bar in place? It appears that that roll bar stays are welded to te rear frame. Is that correct?
When welding carbon steel to s/s the joint will be prone to rust. Making the s/s pointless.

I havent got my book with me at the moment, I know that the uprights are welded to the roll bar, but I dont think they are welded to the rear section. Correct me if im wrong though
 .
