![]() Thanks Ronnie, as I see it if they van make the test sphere contact any part with a radius of less than 2.5mm it's a fail point. I don't know if the sphere can touch the inner edge. Your idea of a cap has triggered an idea though..

![]() you are fine with the u-trim on those as u-trim is what would be used on a normal car. just make sure its the stuff that has the metal liner up the middle of it rather than the floppy rubber stuff.

Ash, thanks for that. I was under the impression that the U trim was generally considered to be a temporary fix and therefore unacceptable. Thanks for the info - that makes life a lot easier. Enoch |

![]() U trim is ok used in the correct application like trimming body panels etc. what is not acceptable is stuck on bits of rubber u channel on places it wouldn't be normally intended for.
