![]() you can have a non padded dash but it has to have a 19mm radius above your legs which is basically 38mm diameter (38mmthick) rounded off. Its best to go a bit bigger just to be safe. the other option is a padded dash which has to have a minimum thickness of 5mm with padding on top. The padding needs to be 60shure which is about the same squigyness as the sierra steering wheel. Basically if they cant feel the hard bits under the padding then your ok.

![]() Quick question to Saturn seeing as we are on the radius issue. When I bought my bodywork from Triton before he sold the moulds I got a free dash panel included in the set.
It has a radius on the bottom of it, but it is not 38mm wide. ie not a fully semi circle. Will this pass IVA, as the way I read previous posts it wont. Thanks for any clarification. Gus |

![]() Understand what you mean Gus, i was sold the mold as an SVA compliant Dash (rules are the same for IVA, 19mm radius). So i have assumed that it is.
I will make sure though and get back. Cheers...AndyH

![]() Andy,
Did you ever manage to find out if the Triton / Saturn dash panel I have will pass IVA for bottom radius requirements? Thanks Gus |
