Tilly, If I put "that thing" on the stand there won't be much room for Roadsters . Happy to be a central point for a "polite meeting" when the show is closed though .

We need to sort out how we can camp together on the camp site, otherwise we're going to be seperated, which won't be as much fun.

It was mentioned that we might have a communal BBQ on the Sunday night, the easiest way is for everyone to bring their own food. Does anyone have a biggish BBQ that they could bring or a gazebo?

All ideas greatfully received

Cheers

Chris
Obviously Roadsters should have priority on the stand. It would be nice if we could have the evening gathering in the camping area though.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I have a gazebo I can bring. I can bring a normal round BBQ but it will not be Big enough I fear, we will probably need 2 or 3 this size. Also I would remind everyone to bring a chair to sit on.

I think Davey's motorhome would be a great focal point both for the camping and for the BBQ, I suggest that we all chip in for the extra gas.

Would this work? If Davey sends his number to everyone who is camping we could call him on arrival and be "talked in" to our spot.

I'd organise this myself but I've got a meeting in Coventry on Saturday afternoon.

I don't want to impose on people but I think a bit of organisation will make things run more smoothly

Cheers

Chris

Me too Chris, it would certainly be an easy target to find.

I hope Davey will be cool with this

It'll save me driving about for 20 mins looking for a big red Gazebo & HandyAndys van !!

Thought I was going blind last year !!??.... It turned out that the Gazebo hadn't been erected yet & Andys van was right behind me cos I was in his way

Bet Andy thought " What is that stupid twat in front of me doing "

I remember last year, I couldnt find the stand for love nor money.
Ended up phoning Ash, hoping he could "talk me in"
Then I see some loony runnng across the field with a beer in hand.
So I stopped, he handed me a beer and said
"Hi I'm HandyAndy, you must be Dogwood"
Well done that man, pretty much set the scene for the whole weekend....

I think Ash was looking for the Front Frame, Dogwood was looking for the wishbones & Spikehaus working out if he could get calipers on the back wheels

and then............. time to put the gazebo up LOL

good fun..

cheers

i have still got my gazebo from last year. might try and drop it off to ginge one evening next week so he can bring it up in his massive 4x4.

the bbq last year was a £15 one from b&Q. im sure we could stop in cov and buy one, i know where all the shops are if someone wants a ride out in the roadster.
