Fuel tank sender position problem

Another question. If you guys wouldnt mind, do you think sikaflexing the tank down would be ok? It cant actualy go anywhere as it is, with no fixings, as the rear tub and frame work holds it in place very neatly?
Edit to say, do you think the IVA man would shout???
