I haven't followed this thread for a few days, so reading it today made my heart sink a little, I was concerned it had sunk to the level of other forums on here. Reading the last few pages has just made me grateful that I have been using this forum for a few weeks, it's not a good impression to new members on here.
Personally I think that the posts that have been made should now be deleted if anyone has the power to do so, to protect the integrity of this forum.

I am also all for the owners club, it's an excellent idea and will be really good to have a group of like minded loons that can meet up and enjoy their cars together.

I also want to be able to tell people I own a Haynes Roadster, and the same as Ginge, I want my HSCC t-shirt, keyring and mug.

I wasn't able to make the club AGM at Stoneleigh, and so I am more than happy to go along with the crowd. I don't feel I'm in any position to belittle the good work that everyone has put in so far. Let's just get on with setting up the club, pop the toys back in the pram, and restore OUR lovely forum back to it's former glory.
Rant over
