I am still so excited I have spent time working on the car when I am sworn not to.. I had a mass argument with myself to justify it....

6 out of 8 wishbones are primed, and 2 of those are coloured..

I considered the cut myself route, but considered the cost and danger of cutting that amout of steel. So I planned my build around a chassis pack. And that was going to happen this august. I then found a good Chassis second hand for £300 which was a no-brainer..

I have invested a fair whack so far since January. I am trying to ge myself to the stage where I have virtualy every part needed to complete before starting, that way progress wont slow due to funds.

I seem to be quite active here, before January I had about 3-4 posts.....

Smile Welcome to the forum

Hi Mike

A very warm welcome to the forum

This is certainly the place to be for help, advice or even just to give the enthusiasm a boost

As for build costs, that can vary quite a lot & is dependent on what you buy, ready made & how much bling you want the build to have

Here's a link to an earlier thread that should give you the general picture.

Build costs

I hope you enjoy your build
