That was a very interesting read indeed

I have dabbled a little with Electro plating & even managed to get to the stage of some simple Copper plating.
Never went any further due to the very high cost of a suitable power suply & the exterme difficulty of obtaining some of the rather nasty chemicals used for plating

During my research into Electro plating I have read a large number of technical publications related to that subject.
I knew that you could use an agressive solution to de-rust metal in a plating set up but until quite recently, never knew that it was possible to do it so easily & cheaply using the method decribed in that post
